Tasked with the client's goal of making this a "...contemporary, rustic, Japanese, craftsman, prairie-style home," we arrived at a ground hugging arrangement of rectangular forms linked together with stone walls. The resulting structure makes subtle references to each of these styles without expressly mimicking any of them.
