1. Calculate Power Consumption
Using our case study house, we’ll calculate how much power a couple uses in typical week. We’ll use this data to project monthly and annual usage which we’ll then use to design a building specific solar system.

2. Solar Exposure
Using our case study home’s site location, we will determine how many hours of solar exposure we have and how that influences equipment and design decisions.

3. System Components & Design
Review system components and determine how to make the on-grid or off-grid decision. Using projected power use and solar exposure data, we’ll design a site specific solar system.
